Medium Size-Horse Hair Dreamcatchers

Thunder
Thunder's dreamcatcher (9 inch ring) was my second attempt. Both of these horses are still alive and well. So you see, not all my clients are at Rainbow Bridge. Thunder is in our pastures as we speak and may be donating more mane hair for my dreamcatchers if he doesn't stop sticking his head through the fence and rubbing out his mane.
After making a 3
inch dreamcatcher for Whisper's
owner, I made this dreamcatcher (9 inch ring) with purple
feathers for her daughter's bedroom.
Ayla's dreamcatcher is a gift for a little girl from her grandmother. It is a 9 inch dreamcatcher made with strands of hair from Ayla's favorite horse "Chunky" a very handsome palomino. In addition to stones to help dispel nightmares it has a pewter horse figurine and a locket with Chunky's photo.
"Garth"
For Garth's dreamcatcher, I used 9 inch ring, an obsidian arrowhead, furnace hackles and maroon beads. To counter balance the weight of the full length piece of tail I attached a large hematite stone and several hawk bells to the right side. The burgundy feathers provided a nice contrast and brought out the color of the maroon beads.
Money

DJ ....a sweet little filly that only lived for about 2 ½ months. The 9 inch dreamcatcher is made with DJ's hair and a large strand of her mother's hair attached to the side. In the center of the web, a hand-made suede leather frame holds a photo of little DJ. A tender tribute to a sweet little spirit that was taken much too soon. Vashka...
A tribute to a wonderful Arabian who lives in Oregon with his owner Lori, a writer.
This dreamcatcher was a gift for a friend.
It's a 7 inch ring with a strand of Vashka's tail off to the side. It has a quartz crystal point and five moonstones surrounding a hand-painted likeness of Vashka.
