Money
A 14 inch ring covered
with tan suede lace. Hawk and turkey feathers, as well as a bear claw
and various beads were supplied by Money's owner. A 2 inch obsidian
arrowhead is attached to the crownpiece.

Mackey
Mackey,a
beautiful Palomino is also on our Rainbow Bridge page.
This dreamcatcher is almost fifty inches long on a 14 inch ring.
Mackey's shamanic animals were birds, hence the eagle in the center and
the thunderbird concho at the crown. His owner saw the color green for
Mackey, so I used green virtually for everything and different shades
of green feathers. Green is one of my favorite colors as it signifies
life and hope.

Shuey
Shuey was said to be a healer, as many
horses frequently are. After seeing his photo and handling his hair, I
felt that Shuey had the strong medicine and introspection of
brother bear, hence the black bear totem in the center of the
web. Shuey was the leader of the herd and for this reason I also identified him
with the wolf, for brother wolf is a teacher. You can see the silver
wolf charm below the bear. You can see a picture of Shuey on our
Rainbow Bridge page.
Below are examples of dreamcatchers where the horse hair is not the
main
focus but rather an enhancement. To the Native American, horses
represent physical and unearthly power. Sometimes a tuft of horsehair
was added to the tip of a "Coup Feather" to designate additional
honor. A "Coup Feather" was an eagle feather awarded to young
braves for acts of courage.
Both of these dreamcatchers were made for non-horse-owners who wanted a
tribute to the Eagle.
