Herbs and spices for your horses...just like in the wild...





If only we could offer our domesticated horses a variety of forages like they have in the wild. There, horses have their pick of hundreds of herbs. No wonder horses are classified as herbivores. I think that variety is something  domesticated horses really miss & crave. The ideal setting would be to have our horses on 200 acres or more, where they could roam and pick their own herbs. Unfortunately, for most of us this is not an option.This is the main reason I feed my horses herbs. The perk to this is, that if you pick the herbs carefully you can also provide your horse with the vitamins, antioxidants and minerals they require for a healthier and happier existence.
I created Witcheylady Potions because herbs are an important part of my life and I love to see the happiness and health they bring to my horses. It brings me joy to see how excited they are at mealtimes, and to notice the positive changes in their bodies. I hope you have as much success with feeding herbs to your horses as I have had.

In  June of 2008,  Megan Vogel  joined Witcheylady Potions. Megan lives in Maryland and will be handling orders for the eastern US.
